One of the cool things about UCLA is the yearly Los Angeles Times Book Festival. There are lots of things to see, including booths, stage shows, discussion panels, and book signings. I’ve compiled a list of some things which may interest the skeptically and secularly inclined (not to say that you won’t find anything else interesting).
Time: Saturday & Sunday, April 25 and 26
Place: All over UCLA
More below the fold…
Atheists United will have a booth! AU is one of the largest freethought organizations in the nation and the largest in the Southern California area. Their booth will appear in the Dickson Court North, which is east of Haines Hall.
Panels
Tickets for each panel are $0.75 (cheaper than last year!).
Tickets are available on Sunday, April 19 through ticketmaster.com, also through an on-site ticket location near poetry stage.
There is limited space for stand-bys to come in 10 minutes prior to each panel
