04.28.08The Site So FarBy May 1st, the site will be complete. Yay! One of the major new changes to the site is that the BASS logo is now visible on the top right of every page. It was relatively simple to set up, but a major victory nonetheless since I used to know virtually no CSS coding. There are about 6 graphics or so that need to be created for the site - one for each page. But before those are created we shall input the rest of the data into the various pages of the site and have an online membership application ...

And fortunately for cynical masochists like myself, there is a full episode up on Google Video. Premise: Cypher (Bibleman's African-American sidekick) stops a bunch of homosexual thugs from burning a bunch of Bibles. Because burning Bibles is way more evil than murder or genocide. 04.24.08The US Senate: All Lawyers and Businessmen, Not One ScientistThere is not a single former scientist-turned-senator, which I must say is very disappointing since unless they were EPA (or other niche) lawyers or have pursued a single scientific issue as doggedly as Al Gore has, none of them appear to have a firm grasp on current scientific affairs... or even the scientific method itself. Here is a list of Senate Committees that have something to do with research or science-related policymaking in this country and anyone on such a committee who has any grounding in science at all. 04.21.08Is this really still an issue?Apparently it is...and a rather pointless one at that. To be clear, I do see why same-sex couples do want equality under marriage, but have a hard time understanding and believing people taking issue with gay couples wanting to get married. It seems like such a non-issue. There are more important things in life, no? If two human beings, two entities, want to wed and enter a social contract then let them do so.
